Aleksandr Guskov is a Russian defenseman on Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.

Guskov was drafted in 2003 by the Columbus Blue Jackets, after putting up 27 points and 32 penalty minutes and helping Lokomotiv Yaroslavl win the league title in his fourth season of play in the Super League. He began his career with Lada Togliatti in 1998, and sent the next two years with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk before joining Yaroslavl in 2001. He played another year with the club in 2003-04, before joining Ak Bars Kazan in 2004. He had 52 penalty minutes in just 18 games with the team before being traded to Avangard Omsk midway through the year. He set a career high with 17 goals and 33 points while playing the 2006-07 season with Lada Togliatti, and rejoined Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in 2007. He set a new career high with 84 penalty minutes in 2008-09.

Guskov won a silver medal at the 2002 World Championships with Russia.
