Evgeny Kurbatov

Evgeny Kurbatov is a Russian defenseman on CSKA Moscow.

Kurbatov began his career with Avangard Omsk-2 in the Russian Third League, where he had 17 points and 46 penalty minutes in 2006-07. He was called up to the Super League late in that season, and stuck with the club for the next two years. He was traded to CSKA Moscow near the end of the 2009-10 season, after splitting it between the MHL and Russian Second League.

Kurbatov won a bronze medal at the 2008 World Juniors with Team Russia.
