Mikhail Pashnin

Mikhail Pashnin is a Russian defenseman on CSKA Moscow.

Pashnin was drafted in 2009 by the New York Rangers, with the 200th overall pick, after scoring 16 points and 32 penalty minutes in his fourth season with Mechel Chelyabinksk's system. He joined the team in 2005, scoring 5 points and 30 penalty minutes in the Russian Third League. In 2007-08, he set a career high with 58 penalty minutes in the Russian Second League with Mechel Chelyabinsk's senior team. He was traded CSKA Moscow in 2009, and made his KHL debut that season. He scored 5 points and 52 penalty minutes in his rookie year, and remained with the club for the 2010 season.

Pashnin won a bronze medal at the 2009 World Juniors.
