Alexei Kalyuzhny
Alexei Kalyuzhny is a Belarusian center on Avangard Omsk.
Kalyuzhny began his career with Dynamo Moscow in 1994, appearing in two games with the team. He played a season with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, scoring 8 points in 44 games, before returning to Dynamo Moscow, where he played the next four seasons. He joined Metallurg Magnitogorsk in 2000, and scored 8 goals and 27 points in his first year with the club. In 2002-03, he set new career highs with 10 goals and 33 points while playing for Severstal Cherepovets, and set a career high in penalty minutes with 58 the following year. he joined Avangard Omsk in 2004, and had the best seasons of his career with the club. In 2006-07, he had 45 assists and 63 points, both career highs, while he scored 25 goals the following year. He returned to Dynamo Moscow in 2008, and played two years with his original club before re-joining Omsk in 2010.
Kalyuzhny has played for Belarus at the last three Olympic Games, as well as numerous World Championships, and has a total of 40 points in 67 international games.
