Alexei Bondarev
Alexei Bondarev is a Kazakh-Russian defenseman on Avangard Omsk.
Bondarev has played most of his career in the Avangard Omsk system, since joining the team's minor league team in 1998. In 2002-03, he scored 16 points in the Russian Third League, and saw his first Super League action with Mechel Chelyabinsk. He then played the next two years with Omsk, before being moved to Spartak Moscow in 2005. He had 11 points and 32 penalty minutes in his first full season at the senior pro level, and was subsequently picked up by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. He played one year there, followed by another with Spartak Moscow, before rejoining Omsk in 2008. He set a career high in 2008-09 with 7 goals and 17 assists, and set a career high in penalty minutes with 78 the following season.
