Dmitri Ryabykin is a Russian defenseman on Avangard Omsk.

Ryabykin was drafted by the Calgary Flames in 1994, after a strong showing at the U18 World Juniors that year. He never came to Calgary, opting instead to sign with Dynamo Moscow. He played four seasons with Moscow, winning his first league title with the club in his rookie season. In 1998, he joined Avangard Omsk, where he has played all but one of the last 13 seasons. He set a career high with 18 assists in 2002-03, along with 103 penalty minutes. In 2004, he won his second league title, and set a career high with 12 goals and 26 points in 2006-07. He spent 2007-08 with SKA St. Petersburg, but returned to Omsk the following season. He was named an alternate captain in 2009, and was bumped up to team captain in 2010.

Ryabykin won a silver medal with Russia at the 2002 World Championships.
