Marcel Hossa is a Slovak winger on Ak Bars Kazan.
Hossa was drafted in the first round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by Montreal, after scoring 53 points in 60 games with the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL. He scored 90 points with the team the following year, and was called up to the Canadiens the next season. He spent most of the next three seasons bouncing back and forth between the Canadiens and their AHL team before spending 2004-05 in Sweden with Mora. He returned to the NHL with the New York Rangers in 2005, where he spent the next three years, before being traded to Phoenix at the 2008 trade deadline. He made his KHL debut in 2008 with Dinamo Riga, scoring 22 goals and 45 points, as well as 118 penalty minutes. He set a career high with 35 goals and 54 points the next year, and signed with Ak Bars Kazan in 2010.
