Igor Schadilov
Igor Schadilov is a Russian defenseman on Ak Bars Kazan.
Schadilov was drafted by the Washington Capitals in 1999 after scoring 11 points in his first season with Dynamo Moscow's junior team, and playing 11 games in the Russian SuperLeague. He spent the next two years with Dynamo Moscow, before joining Severstal Cherepovets in 2001. He had 22 points with the team over two more seasons before returning to his original club. He played two more years in Moscow and won his first league title before joining Ak Bars Kazan for his first stint with the club in 2005. He won another league championship in 2006, and went on to set then-career highs with 5 goals and 15 points, as well as 32 penalty minutes in his second season with the team, before leaving to play with Salavat Yulaev Ufa for two years. He put up 18 points in 2007-08, which still stands as his career high, helping the team win the league title, Schadilov's third. He returned to Ak Bars Kazan in 2009.
Schadilov won a silver medal at the 2000 World Juniors with Team Russia.
