Stepan Zakharchuk
Stepan Zakharchuk is a Russian defenseman on Ak Bars Kazan.
Zakharchuk made his Russian professional hockey debut in 2004 with his hometown team of CSK VVS Samara in the lower level Russia2 league. He spent four seasons with the club, recording 150 penalty minutes in his first full year with the club, and setting a career high with 19 points in 2007-08. He made his KHL debut with Lada Togliatti in 2008, scoring 7 points and 44 penalty minutes in his rookie year. He was traded to Ak Bars Kazan midway through the 2009-10 season.
