Anton Bukhanko

Anton Bukhanko is a Russian defenseman on Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Bukhanko has played in the Russian hockey system since 2004, when he debuted in the Russian junior leagues. He worked his way through the system until 2006, when he made his senior Russian SuperLeague debut with HC MVD. He played only one game with the team before returning to the lower leagues with HK Belgorod. He scored 26 points and 104 penalty minutes with the team over the next two seasons, and was acquired by Magnitogorsk in 2009. He has played a few games with the club over the last two seasons, but has yet to prove he can consistently contribute at the top professional levels.
