Patrick Dwyer is an American winger on the Carolina Hurricanes.

Dwyer was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2002, after scoring 17 goals and 34 points in his freshman year at Western Michigan University. He finished his college career there before jumping to the AHL in 2005. He scored 40 or more points in all but one of the four seasons he played in the AHL before making his NHL debut with Carolina in 2008. Despite the Hurricanes’ struggles in 2009-10, he played in 58 games, and will compete for a roster spot at the 2010 training camp.
