Donté Dominic Greene was born on 21st February, 1988 in Munich situated in West Germany. This forward position athlete is a professional basketball player playing for the Sacramento Kings, as an NBA professional basketball player.

Standing six foot and eleven inches weighing around 226 lbs, Greene was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies for the NBA Draft 2008 in the first round of the 28th pick.

Greene has completed his studies from Towson Catholic High School and Syracuse College. He started playing basketball at an early age with Towson Catholic High School basketball team. He scored an average of 18.4 points, 6.8 rebounds with 3.0 assists and 4.3 blocks per game.

He became the part of Syracuse College basketball team and played in 35 matches. He scored 17.7 ppg and 7.2 rpg.

During his career as a professional basketball player, Greene has played with several teams, which are Men’s U18 National Team of USA in 2006 season, Men’s U18 Championship of San Antonio, Texas, Men’s U19 Basketball team for World Championships of USA in 2007.
