Sebastian Telfair is an American professional basketball player. He was born on 9th June 1985 in Brooklyn, New York. Sebastian plays for Minnesota Timberwolves as a Point Guard with Jersey No.3. His height is 6 feet (1.83 meters) and weight is 175 pounds (79 kg).
Sebastian attended Abraham Lincoln High School where he was the 13th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2004 NBA Draft. Incidentally, he became the shortest high school player who was drafted. In the senior year, he was associated with Coach Rick Pitino and the University of Louisville. However, he changed his mind and opted to become professional.
From 2004 to 2006, Sebastian was a member of Portland Trail Blazers. In February 2005, when Kevin Pritchard was the interim coach, Sebastian was promoted to the starting lineup. He put on a decent show; however the team lost with the worst record since 1975. In the 2005-06 season, Sebastian has a new head coach in Nate McMillan. Sebastian was the starting point guard, but his performance was regarded as below par. After missing a dozen games, Sebastian scored the winning basket on 5th April 2006 against the Houston rockets. In the 2005-06 season, Sebastian had a ppg of 9.5 and in the 2007-08 season had 9.3 ppg.
For the 2006-07 season, Sebastian was a member of Boston Celtics. On 31st July 2007, the Celtics traded Sebastian to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Sebastian ranks tenth in Assists per Turnover (3.2) in the NBA and 31st in Assists (355) in the NBA.
