William Bynum was born in Chicago in Illinois. He is an American professional player of basketball and at present he is in the Detroit Pistons team. This point guard position athlete has also signed a two year contract with the Detroit Pistons team after his performance was observed by Pistons head coach, Michael Curry.
His high school was in Crane Tech Prep and his last college was in the University of Arizona. He played basketball during his college days and was transferred to Georgia Tech. due to his amazing performances, Yellow Jackets reached the final four, but lost to Connecticut Huskies.
After signing a contract with Boston Celtics in off season in 2005, he participated in the preseason NBA game and was waived prior to the start of the game. He was drafted with 5th overall for the Roanoke Dazzle of NBA Development League and won the 2005-06 NBA Development Rookie of the year award. Later on, he appeared for the Golden State Warriors in 2005-06 season and played for almost 15 games.
Prior to the team of Detroit Pistons, he signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel for two years. His former teams include Roanoke Dazzle in 2005-06, Golden State Warriors in 2006 and Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2006-08.
