John Austin

John W. Austin is a retired American basketball player. During his college days in Boston College, he used to play basketball. In 1966, he got selected by the Boston Celtics in the fourth round with 38th pick overall of the NBA Draft.

In professional side, he played for the Baltimore Bullets in 1966-67 season in the NBA for almost four games. He even played 41 games for the New Jersey Americans in 1967-68 season.

This 6 feet and 170 lbs athlete did his high school in DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville in Maryland.

In his career, he played around 45 games, 41 with ABA and 4 with NBA, scoring total points of 340 and assists of 62.
