John Arthurs is a retired basketball player who graduated from Tulane University where he played college basketball and was an All-American in the year 1969. During his period in Tulane, he scored 1,501 points in three seasons and undisputedly became the all-time leading scorer of the college.
Arthurs also served as a first baseman in the baseball team. After graduating from college, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 6th round of the NBA draft.
Arthurs played in 11 games for the Bucks during the 1969-70 season and registered 39 points.
After his Basketball career ended, he ventured into real estate. He was also enshrined in the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame in the year 1980.
