Professional Career

Addison was selected as the 39th overall pick in the second round of the 1986 NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns. His professional career lasted from 1986 to 1997, during which he wore numbers 12, 21, and 7.

He began his NBA career with the Suns in the 1986-1987 season before moving to Italy to play for Pallacanestro Livorno from 1987 to 1991. He returned to the NBA with the New Jersey Nets from 1991 to 1993, then had another stint in Italy with Benetton Treviso in 1994. With Treviso, he won the Italian Cup.

He continued his NBA career with the Detroit Pistons from 1994 to 1995 and the Charlotte Hornets from 1995 to 1997.

He concluded his professional career with PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece in 1997.
