Matt Bullard

Matt Bullard is an American former professional basketball player who played eleven seasons in the National Basketball Association and later became a television analyst. He played for NBA teams like Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets.

Matthew Gordon Bullard was born on June 5, 1967, in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. He stands 208 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 98 kg. He shot right and played both power forward and small forward throughout his career.

After his playing career, he became a color analyst for the [[Houston Rockets] on AT&T SportsNet Southwest until 2021. In 2004, he competed on ESPN's reality show Dream Job, finishing runner-up to Dee Brown.

High School and College Career

Bullard attended Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. He began his college career at the University of Colorado (1985-1987) before transferring to the University of Iowa (1988-1990).

Professional Career

After going undrafted in 1990, Bullard signed with the Houston Rockets, where he spent most of his career and won an NBA championship in 1994. He played one season in Greece with PAOK, winning the Greek Cup in 1995, before returning to the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks.

He later rejoined the Rockets and finished his career with the Charlotte Hornets in 2002.
