Joe Buckhalter

Joe Buckhalter was an American professional basketball player who played two seasons in the National Basketball Association. He is known for his brief stint with the Cincinnati Royals and his time with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Buckhalter was selected by the St. Louis Hawks with the 81st overall pick in the 12th round of the 1958 NBA Draft. However, he didn't make his NBA debut until 1961 with the Cincinnati Royals.

He also played in the 1962 NBA Playoffs, where he improved his averages to 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game over 4 games.

Over his brief NBA career, Buckhalter averaged 5.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

After his NBA career, Buckhalter played for the Harlem Globetrotters. Also, from 1963 to 1964, he played for the Wilkes-Barre Barons.
