Joel Jones is a professional basketball player from Puerto Rico who is a member of the Puerto Rico national basketball team from 2007. He has a height of 6 feet 6 inches and weight of 200 lbs. He has been allocated the position of shooting guard.

In 2007, Jones was a member of the Puerto Rico national basketball team that won the Silver Medal. He was included as a reserve player in this team in 2008.

Initially, Jones attended Grossmont College. From 2001 to 2004, he played his collegiate career at Sacramento State. As a member of Sacramento State Hornets, he was All Big Sky Conference in 2001-02 and 2003-04 seasons. From 2002 onwards, he has participated as a professional player in the National Superior Basketball League of Puerto Rico. During the 2005-06 season, he took part in the Chinese Basketball Association. Jones also has the experience of playing for BG Karlsruhe in Germany. Currently, he is a member of Leones de Ponce in Puerto Rico.
