Juan Carlos Navarro has won the following awards during his career – ACB Spanish League 2005-06 Most Valuable Player, Catalan League Final MVP 2001 and FIBA Under 19 World Championship Most Valuable Player 1999.

Navarro plays in the position of Guard. He weighs 174 lbs and is 6 feet 3.5 inches tall. Currently, he is a member of the Spanish national basketball team and FC Barcelona in the Euroleague.

The FIBA Europe Under 18 Championship in 1998 was won by the Spanish junior national team of which Navarro was a member. He was one of “The Golden Generation” boys of Spain. At the 1999 FIBA Under 19 World Championship, the Most Valuable Player of the tournament final was Navarro.

Navarro represented the senior Spanish national team during the 2000 Olympic Basketball Tournament in Sydney. He was a participant of the Eurobasket 2001 where he won 2 games with buzzer beaters. Spain contested the Bronze Medal game against Germany during which Navarro registered 27 points.
