Antonis Fotsis is a member of the Greek national basketball team. Along with this team, he has won the following accolades – the 2006 Stankovic Continental Champions Cup, Acropolis Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2002 and 2008, 6 Acropolis tournaments in 2002, 2003, 2005 to 2008, the Bronze Medal at the 1998 FIBA Europe Under 18 Championship.
Fotsis has represented several teams like – Ilisiakos in 1996-97, Panathinaikos from 1997 to 2001 and 2002-03, Memphis Grizzlies in 2001-02, Real Madrid from 2003 to 2005 and Dynamo Moscow from 2005 to 2008. In 2000, he won the Euroleague Championship with Panathinaikos. On 21st March 2007, he scored 22 points and 24 rebounds and assisted Dynamo to register a 68-65 overtime win over Benetton Treviso. This feat of 24 rebounds was a single game Euroleague record.
Fotsis weighs 240 lbs and is 6 feet 10.25 inches tall. He plays in the position of Power forward or small forward.
During the 2nd round of the 2001 NBA draft, Fotsis was chosen by Memphis Grizzlies as the 48th overall draft. He averaged 2.2 rebounds and 3.9 points per game during his stint with this team.

Antonis Fotsis won the Gold Medal for Greece during the 2005 Serbia and Montenegro European Championships. He won the Silver Medal for Greece in the 2006 Japan FIBA World Chamspionships.
