Zakhar Pashutin is presently a member of the professional club Spartak Saint Petersburg. He weighs 210 pounds and is 6 feet 5 inches tall. The shooting guard position has been allocated to him. He plays for the Russian national basketball team also.
Pashutin has participated in the following clubs – French basketball Cup in 2001, Russian Basketball Cup in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, Russian Championship in 2002-03, 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07. He has won the Euroleague Championship in 2005-06 and 2007-08 and was the runner up in 2006-07. He took an active part in the 2000 and 2008 Summer Olympics and in the 2002 FIBA World Championship.
He has been a member of teams like Spartak St Petersburg from 1990 to 1995, Avtodor Saratov from 1995 to 1999, Pinar Karsiyaka in 1999-2000, ASVEL in 2000-01, CSKA Moscow in 2002-03, Ural Great Perm in 2003-04, CSKA Moscow in 2004-08 and Spartak Saint Petersburg in 2008-09.
Zakhar Pashutin has won the Gold Medal in the 2007 Spain European Championships for the Russian national basketball team. In the 1998 Athens World Championship, he won the Silver Medal for the Russian national basketball team. For the same team, he won the Bronze medal in the 1997 Spain European Championships.
