Nick Horvath has played with the following teams in the past – West Sydney Razorbacks in 2005-06, Adelaide 36ers in 2006-07, South Dragons from 2007 to 2009. He plays in the position of Center. He has a height of 208 centimeters and weight of 105 kg.

In 1999, Horvath was Mr Basketball in the state of Minnesota. During the 1999-2000 season, he played as a freshman in 32 out of 34 games of Duke. At Duke, his USA Basketball Head Coach was Mike Krzyzewski. In 2007, he played with Wellington. He led the Wellington Saints to the NZNBL Grand Final in 2008. He also played in the 2008 Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

In January 2005, while playing against the Kings, he posted a career high 21 rebounds. He scored 34 as a Sixer when the opponent team was the Dragons in February 2007. In the 2005 NBL season, he averaged 11.1 rebounds and 20.4 points and shot a team high 54.3 percent from the floor.
