Corey Webster was a member of New Zealand Breakers in the 2008-09 season. He has been allocated the position of Guard.

The month of June 2008 will always be memorable for Corey Webster for two reasons. First, he was selected in 1 of the 2 Development Player spots at the Breakers. Secondly, he made an excellent Tall Blacks debut against Australia prior to playing in the New Zealand NBL. Corey is the son of Tony, the Harbor Heat Coach, who was himself a New Zealand NBL legend. In 2007, Corey was a part of Breakers Academy program. Further, for 1 year, he was with Lambuth University in the United States. He played for the Eagles and averaged 11.64 points per game and shot 47.2 percent from the field. In the NAIA TranSouth Conference, he was honored as Freshman of the Year.

Corey had represented NZ Juniors in 2006. In both 2005 and 2006, he was named National Tournament MVP. Along with Westlake High, he won 2 national secondary titles.
