George Jesse Hill Jr. was born on May 4, 1986, in Indianapolis, Indiana in the United States of America. He stands 193 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 85 kg. He is a point guard and he shoots right-handed.

Growing up, he was a fan of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird.

High School and College Career

He attended Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, Indiana – his hometown. Later, he attended Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. In 2008, he was named the Summit League Player of the Year and to the First-Team All-Summit League.

Professional Career

Hill was a first-round pick during the 2008 NBA Draft, selected by the San Antonio Spurs. He was with the Pacers from 2008 to 2011.

In 2011, he signed with the Indiana Pacers for the first time and was with them from 2011 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, he was signed with the Utah Jazz, and from 2017 to 2018, he was with the Sacramento Kings.

In 2018, he signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and from 2018 to 2020, he played for the Milwaukee Bucks. He played for the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, he played for a short time with the Philadelphia 76ers and later signed with the Bucks again.

Then in 2023, he returned to the Pacers. He last played for the Pacers that year and has not signed with another NBA team since.
