Bobby Brown is a professional basketball player from the United States of America who plays as a point guard. Brown went to the Westchester High School where he was teammates with future NBA players Trevor Ariza and Hassan Adams. His education path took him to California State University where he played up until 2007.

In 2007, Brown declared for the NBA Draft but went unpicked by any team. He decided to move to Germany and joined ALBA Berlin with whom he won the 2007 National League title. In an ULEB cup game, Brown top-scored with 44 points, the second highest total ever in the competition, in a game that went into five overtimes.

In 2008, he returned to the United States with a contract with the New Orleans Hornets for the Summer League. He performed well enough to earn a 2-year contract, although the contract was offered by the Sacramento Kings and not the Hornets. Despite interests and multi-million dollar offers from Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Israel and FC Barcelona of Spain, Brown stuck to his NBA dreams and played 47 games for the Kings in his first season in the NBA. Playing just 14.4 minutes per game, Brown decided to move to Minnesota at the end of the season where he played just 21 games in the 2008-09 season.
