Devin Harris is an American professional basketball player. He played for the National Basketball Association from 2004 to 2019. In 2009, he was named an NBA All-Star while playing for the New Jersey Nets.

High School and College Career
He attended Wauwatosa East High School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. In 2001, he was named Wisconsin Mr. Basketball. Later, he committed to play for the University of Wisconsin and was there from 2001 to 2004.In 2004, he was named the Big 10 Player of the Year and the Big Ten Tournament MOP.
Professional Career
He joined the NBA in 2004 and was selected in the 1st round, selected 5th overall by the Washington Wizards. Harris played for the Mavericks several times in his career. The first time he played for them was from 2004 to 2008.From 2008 to 2011, he played for the [[New Jersey Nets]. Then from 2011 to 2012, he played for the Utah Jazz and the Atlanta Hawks from 2012 to 2013.
He played for the Mavericks again from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, he played for the Denver Nuggets. Before he retired, he played for the Mavericks from 2018 to 2019.
