Greg Buckner

He attended University Heights Academy High School in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Later, he went to Clemson University. During the 1998 NBA draft, he was selected by Dallas Mavericks in the 2nd round. He was the 24th pick and overall 53rd pick. In the playoffs, he got an opportunity to play in 38 games during which he got 572 playing minutes. His 3-point field goal percentage was 0.259, field goal percentage was 0.377 and free throw percentage was 0.259. He collected 157 points, 78 personal fouls, 100 rebounds and 23 assists.
Since his playing career ended in 2009 at the Grizzlies, he has since gone into coaching. He was an assistant at the Grizzlies from 2017 to 2019, before moving to the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2020.
