Isaac Austin was a professional basketball player playing as a Center with the Vancouver/ Memphis Grizzlies in the National Basketball Association. He wore the number 9 jersey and stood 6 feet and 10 inches tall weighing at 255 lbs.
Isaac Austin did his schooling from the Las Plumas High School in Oroville, California. He later attended the Arizona State University where he played with the college basketball team called the Arizona Sun Devils. In 1991, Austin was drafted by the Utah Jazz in the National Basketball Association. After showcasing an unimpressive performance Austin was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 1994. Austin however went on to play with the Tuborg Izmir basketball club in Turkey. He returned to the NBA in 1996 to play with the Miami Heat. The Heat traded him to the Los Angeles Clippers in 1998 who further exchanged him to the Orlando Magic in 1999. The Magic traded Austin to the Washington Wizards the following season. In 2000, Austin was sent to play with the Vancouver/ Memphis Grizzlies. In 2002, Austin announced his retirement from the NBA. In 2004, after his retirement, Austin briefly served as the coach for the Utah Snowbears of the American Basketball Association.
In a total of 432 games that Austin played in the NBA, he averaged at 7.6 points per game, 1.2 assists per game and 4.7 rebounds per game.
