Nicole Ohlde
Nicole Ohlde was born born on March 13, 1982 in Clay Center, Kansas. Her parents are Stan and Marlene Ohlde. She has two older brothers, Brett and Clayton.
College
Nicole attended Kansas State University, where she majored in social science. For the Wildcats, she was a two-time first team All American, in 2003 and 2004, averaging 17.8 points per game.She is the only Wildcat to have over 2,000 points, 900 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 blocks in a career.
WNBA
In the 2004 WNBA Draft, Nicole was selected as the 6th pick by the Minnesota Lynx.As rookie in 2004, she averaged 11.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
In 2005, she averaged 11.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 2005.
In 2006, her production dipped to 9.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, as she spent most of the season playing center, rather than her natural power forward position.
