Early Life and College Career
Growing up in a large family, Chasity is the middle child among five siblings. Her basketball journey took her to North Carolina State, where she played for the Wolfpack. During her impressive college career, she was recognized as a member of the 1996-97 Kodak All-America team and played a pivotal role in leading her team to its first-ever NCAA Final Four appearance in the 1997-98 season. Over her four years, she consistently topped the scoring charts, finishing with an impressive 2,042 points, ranking fourth in the school's history. Additionally, she stands third all-time in rebounds with 1,020 and made a remarkable 838 field goals, making her the only player in NC State history to lead the team in field goal percentage throughout her college career.Professional Career
Chasity embarked on her professional journey in the ABL after being selected as the second pick in the 1998 ABL Draft by the Philadelphia Rage. During her lone season there, she averaged 12.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, clinching the third spot in the league for field goal percentage at .556.In 1999, Chasity transitioned to the WNBA, where she played for notable teams including the Cleveland Rockers, Washington Mystics, and Chicago Sky. Over her first nine WNBA seasons, she maintained averages of 10.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, solidifying her reputation as a reliable player. Furthermore, her professional career extended internationally, where she played in leagues across Italy, Israel, Spain, Poland, and Russia.
