A lot of people in America and around the world did not like Lebron James before his one hour special called “The Decision” back in mid-June on ESPN. Now, many more despise the NBA superstar, and he has no one to blame but his arrogant and self centered self.
Lebron James, the self anointed “king,” even though he has never won a championship, used a one hour special to tell the world where he was going to sign as a free agent.
Lebron told hand picked reporter Jim Gray he would be taking his talents to Miami to team up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh for the 2010-2011 season.
As soon as the words south beach (Miami) came out of his mouth, the entire region around the city of Cleveland was enraged with pain that seemed all too familiar.
Cleveland has had its share of sports heartbreak, even more than most cities have had to endure, and James did not even tell the Cavaliers prior to the one hour special.
If he had told the Cavaliers his plans beforehand, they could have prepared their offseason plans to try to replace him with adequate talent.
Lebron James screwed the Cavaliers, Cleveland, and his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Everyone outside of Miami wants James and the Heat to fail, and for the sake of the NBA, I hope they do.
