July 1st, 2010. A day where the basketball world will go crazy. Superstars aplenty will be looking for new homes, and some will stay where they are.
Stars such as Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and ofcourse Lebron James, are a just a few big name players who will be looking for work this summer.
But with Lebron James, his goal has to be winning an NBA championship. His greatness, similar to every other star athlete, is how well did you perform under the sport’s biggest stage.
Lebron’s best situation to win is in Cleveland. No other place can surround him with the talent that Cleveland can. He cannot be any more popular, or make any more money in New York than he is now in Cleveland.
Anyone who does not even know much at all about the sport of basketball, knows who LeBron James is.
James must understand the Cavaliers ownership will do everything they can to win a title. Each of the last 2 years, the Cavs management has made trades, and taken on salary to improve the team.
Possible destinations for James in the summer, including New York, and New Jersey do no have the players or coach to win an NBA title.
Lebron must do what is best for him and his family, but the Cavaliers offer him the best place to win a title, and his playoff success will ultimately decide his legacy.
