The 2010 Western Conference playoffs could turn out to be the most evenly matched playoffs ever.

The 2010 Western Conference playoffs could turn out to be the most evenly matched playoffs ever. Almost every team of the 8 playoff participants has won 50 games entering the final week of the season.kevin durant

Best 1st round matchup:

The most intriguing matchup is the 1 vs. 8 seeds matchup, the Lakers vs. the Thunder. The Thunder are the team of the future, multiple championships seem very likely in their near future.

Thunder MVP candidate Kevin Durant is the NBA’s leading scorer and an absolute nightmare to defend. The Lakers have been playing poorly since the all-star break, especially since center Andrew Bynum went out with injury.

Look for the young Thunder to out hustle and out-run the Lakers to a 4-2 series win.

Player to Watch:

Kevin Durant is one of the most competitive players in the NBA. He takes every game as serious as the next. He even plays his hardest in all star games.

Durant has been gaining national attention throughout the year, and he will use the 2010 NBA playoffs as his coming out party. He will be determined to show he is the best player in the league, and that the Oklahoma City Thunder are among the NBA’s elite teams.

The 1st round in the West will be amazing to watch. How often can there be no upsets in the 1st round? The teams this year are so good, that any winning team will be deserving. deron williams

Furthermore, every team is hungry for the title. Several teams including the Jazz, Mavericks, and Nuggets think THIS year is the year they finally win their franchise’s first championship.

We’ll have to find out, and have fun watching out all unfold. It will be an amazing April and May for the NBA.
