Howard out with Sprained Ankle

Josh Howard, forward for the Dallas Mavericks will not be available for the game against the Washington Wizards. Howard sprained his ankle in the second half of the game against the New Orleans Hornets. Coach Rick Carlisle said that Howard will be paying a visit to a specialist on Monday to find out the extent of the injury. >
“We’re hoping for the best,” Howard said. “If he’s in pain and it affects him, then he can’t play. We need to get him better.”
Howard had been affected by the same ailment earlier in November and December leading to 11 missed games. His injury came back against Oklahoma City however he still went on and played the rest of the game as well as the game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Devean George will be taking his place in the game against the Washington Wizards.
