Half of the NBA season is over and almost 40 games have been played in either conference from which the following results have been obtained.

Most Valuable Player

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers must be selected MVP. In this season, he has recorded 6.8 assists per game, 7.2 rebounds per game and 27.8 points per game. Although, these statistics are less as compared to the previous year, James appears more powerful in this season. James has performed brilliantly, in spite of the fact that the Cavs have never been the top seed in the Conference and have won only one division title in history. Some other players who deserve to be mentioned as MVPs are Tim Duncan of the Spurs, Chris Paul of the Hornets, Dwight Howard of Magic and Kobe Bryant of the Lakers. James>
