Ronald Joel Flores is a professional baseball player who specializes as a relief pitcher. Flores attended the El Rancho High School and then went on to attend the University of Southern California. In 1998, he was part of the University's championship winning baseball team. Flores was picked by at 870th overall in the 2000 MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics.

He rose up through the lower divisions to reach the Major League roster in 2005 and for two years, was mostly the backup lefty in the bullpen. Flores saw limited action but had some memorable games such as the June 2006 game against the San Diego Padres where he had 4 shut-out innings to get to his first win. He also had a save in the final game of the season after throwing a scoreless 10th inning.

In December 2007, Flores signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and teamed up with his brother, Randy Flores. At the end of the season, he became a free agent and decided to sign a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds.
