Andres Perez

Andres Eloy Blanco Perez is a professional baseball player from Venezuela and plays as an in-fielder. He made his major league debut for the Kansas City Royals after being picked as a free agent. In his rookie year, he hit .317 with 5 RBIs, 9 runs, 2 doubles and triples as well as one stolen base – all in just 19 games. He stayed at the Royals up until 2006 and became a free agent thereafter.

In 2007, he signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs and then became a free agent again, at the end of the season. The Cubs signed him on again, for another year, in December 2008.
