Douglas Slaten

A professional baseball player from the USA, Douglas Slaten is a pitcher with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Slaten, a lefty-specialist, went to the Venice High School where he honed his baseball skills. His major league debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks came in 2006 when he took to the mound against the Florida Marlins. At 2.72 ERA, he has played 61 games for the Diamondbacks. In 2008, he had a much poorer season and was sent down to the AAA-Tucson team to regain his earlier form.
