Early Life and College Career

Morrow honed his skills at Rancho Cotate High School before opting to further develop his talent at the University of California, Berkeley. Despite being drafted by the Anaheim Angels in 2003, he chose to enhance his game in college, where he showcased his potential as a formidable pitcher.

Professional Journey

His professional career took off when the Seattle Mariners selected him fifth overall in the 2006 MLB Draft. Morrow made an immediate impact during spring training in 2007, posting a remarkable 1.08 ERA in six relief appearances, which secured him a spot on the major league roster.
