Early Life and Education

Growing up in Florida, Raburn attended Durant High School in Plant City, where he began honing his baseball skills. After being drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 18th round of the 1999 amateur entry draft, he opted to pursue his education instead and spent two years at South Florida Community College, solidifying his foundation in the sport.
