Ibrahim Ba was born in Senegal but moved with his parents to France when he was only a child. Ibrahim plays as right midfielder in AC Milan.

Ibrahim Ba started his career in Le Havre AC in 1991. He stayed on for Le Havre until 1996 playing 128 games and scoring 8 goals. In 1996 Ibrahim Ba was sold to Bordeaux. He stayed there for one season playing 35 games and scoring 6 goals.

After the successful season playing for Bordeaux Ibrahim Ba was sold to the Italian Serie A club AC Milan in 1997. The First season in AC Milan was his best one. After that season he had trouble with injures and was sent on loan to other clubs ( Perugia, Olympic Marseille ).

In 2003 Ibrahim Ba joined the Premier League club Bolton Wanderers in England. After no success in the Premiership he signed on for the Turkish club Caykur Rizespor. Ibrahim only played two games for the Turkish club.

In 2005 Ibrahim Ba signed a two year contract with the Swedish club Djurg
