Sean Strickland is a professional mixed martial artist born on February 27, 1991 in Anaheim, California. He is currently signed under the Ultimate Fighting Championship and competing in the welterweight division. He has been a former champion in the middleweight division under the King of Cage.
Strickland was only 14 years old when he began training in mixed martial arts. When he was 16, he began his professional career in the said sport. This was in 2006 under the King of Cage. During that time, he compiled an impressive 9-0 record before losing to Josh Bryant for the middleweight championship title. It was in 2012 when he finally won the championship title and defended it twice. After this, he signed in the UFC and made his debut in the said promotion in 2014.
