Pune Warriors India is a former cricket club in the Indian Premier League. They were established in 2010 and dissolved three years later in 2013.
Sourav Ganguly served as team captain and their coach was Geoff Marsh. Marsh was assisted in his coaching duties by Dermot Reeve.

The team was owned by Subrata Roy. They were founded on September 5, 2010. Their home ground in 2011 was the DY Patil Stadium and from 2012 to 2013, they called the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium home.
They were one of the two new teams introduced to the IPL season 2011. The team was owned by the Sahara Group.
The Sahara group bought the team for $370 Million, beating the bid by Videocon Group.
The team logo shows Shivaji Maharaj holding a spear and riding his famous horse ‘Chetak’.
The team colors are saffron, white and green, the same as the Indian National Flag.
For the 2011 season, they signed a number of international players including Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Angelo Mathews, Ashish Nehra, Graeme Smith, Callum Ferguson, [Wayne Parnell]], and Jerome Taylor.
They also signed then-uncapped Indian players Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Mithun Manhas, Mohnish Mishra, Ganesh Gaikwad, Manish Pandey, and Kamran Khan.
The team’s first captain was Singh. In May 2011, they signed Sourav Ganguly and he would later take on captain duties.
After a couple of seasons without much success, including a couple of IPL withdrawals, the team was dissolved in October 2013.
