In 1993, Bradtke joined the Melbourne Tigers, where he had his most successful years. He helped lead the Tigers to NBL championships in 1993 and 1997.

Bradtke had a brief stint in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers during the 1996-97 season.

After returning to the Tigers, Bradtke continued to dominate the NBL. He won the league's Most Valuable Player award in 2002 and was selected to the All-NBL First Team ten times between 1994 and 2005.

Bradtke finished his career with the Brisbane Bullets, winning his third NBL championship in 2007 at age 37. He retired as the NBL's all-time leading rebounder with 6,283 career rebounds.
