In tennis, an Inside-Out shot is when a player hits a forehand from their backhand side.
The player moves to their left (for right-handers) or right (for left-handers) to hit the ball. They aim the shot diagonally across the court, usually to their opponent's backhand.
This technique allows players to use their stronger forehand shots more often. It can put pressure on the opponent's weaker side. Inside-out forehands are often powerful and can help control the point. However, this shot leaves part of the court open, so timing is important.
