Hacker

In tennis, a Hacker is a player with unpolished or awkward technique. Their strokes often look clumsy or accidental rather than smooth and intentional.

Hackers may hit the ball in unusual ways to keep it in play. They often rely on slices, flat shots, and unconventional tactics. Hackers can be frustrating opponents because their unpredictable play disrupts rhythm. They may lack proper footwork but can still win points through persistence.

The term "hacker" is not usually applied to professional players. It's more common in recreational tennis to describe less skilled players. Hackers often improve their game over time with practice and coaching.
