A Golden Set in tennis happens when a player wins a set without losing any points.
It means winning all 24 points needed to win six games in a row. This is extremely rare in professional tennis.
Only a few players have ever done it in top tournaments.
Yaroslava Shvedova achieved a golden set at Wimbledon in 2012. Bill Scanlon also did it in 1983 at a tournament in Delray Beach.
A golden set requires perfect play and a bit of luck. The player must serve well and hit winners or force errors on every point. Even the best tennis stars rarely come close to a golden set.
It's one of the hardest feats to accomplish in the sport.
