Roko Karanušić
Roko Karanušić is a Croatian professional tennis player born on September 5, 1982 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia. He is currently ranked at #110, but had his highest at No. 88. He turned professional by the year 2000 at the age of 18.
In the 2009 Australian Open, the right handed 26 year old tennis player joined the tournament and competed against Florent Serra from France and won. But then, he was defeated by Rafael Nadal, currently the World’s No. 1 professional tennis player. He joined the ATP World Tour Masters in Miami held in Florida, United States in March 2009. He won against Kevin Anderson from South Africa in the first round. In the second round, he lost to Robert Kendrick from the United States. In June 2009, he competed in the Wimbledon tournament in Great Britain. He had a match and won against Julian Reister from Germany and Alexander Slabinsky from Great Britain.
